Description

Laurus nobilis 'Bay Tree'

Native to the Mediterranean, the bay tree is well known for its culinary use, often added to soups and stews. It is an upright, hardy evergreen tree with deep green, aromatic foliage. Leaves are glossy and oval in shape and hang from red-brown branches. In spring, yellow buds appear, opening to clusters of fluffy yellow flowers, adding a lovely contrast amongst the foliage. Tough, beautiful and useful, this tree lends itself well to hedging and is also an excellent choice for topiary. 16" pot size, approximately 5-6ft in height.

Cornus kousa var Chinensis, Kousa Dogwood, Chinese Dogwood

This is arguably the world's most beautiful dogwood, with a fabulous show of white flowers in spring, and magnificent autumn colour. A beautiful small (up to 4m) deciduous feature tree and is extremely beautiful when in bloom.  Flowering season is late spring, weeks after the tree puts on foliage again. 8" pot size

Vitis Vinifera, Ornamental Grape Vine

Crimson Glory Vine is an absolutely beautiful large leaved deciduous climber with heart stopping Autumn colour. This is actually an ornamental (non-fruiting) variety of grape vine that has some fabulous features: it is very hardy, fast growing, long lived and tolerates a range of soils. Crimson Glory Vines are happy in full sun to part shade.
