Cosmic White is very tough and versatile – it grows just about anywhere and will tolerate most soil types. It flowers heavily in Spring with spot flowering throughout the rest of the year, the flowers are bigger than the common form. Very clean foliage and very good disease resistance. Grows to around 1.5m in height. Tolerates frost, drought and coastal conditions.

Japanese flowering Quince are medium-sized, deciduous shrubs that will put on a beautiful display of flowers from late winter to mid-summer. Berries arrive after flowering time. They are edible but usually too bitter to eat directly from the bush. They are usually preserved for jams. It is happy in a wide range of conditions but is best situated in full sun in well-drained loamy soils. It is also able to tolerate windy and coastal areas and is frost tolerant!
