Description

Corymbia ficifolia 'Red flowering Gum' (syn. eucalyptus)

Red Flowering Gums are one of the most commonly planted ornamental eucalyptus trees due to their compact habit and prolific flowering.

These are hardy trees with flowers which are borne at the ends of branches on new growth and are bright orange to scarlet, making them absolutely spectacular trees. Great for street plantings.

Anemone hupehensis japonica

Snowdrop Windflower produces extra large, pure white fragrant flowers. These are displayed well above the lush Spring foliage. A great ground cover plant that thrives in a full sunlight position. Snowdrop Windflower is known for satiny white flowers with buttery yellow centers which sway gracefully on slender stems. The flowers are butterfly attracting and shade tolerant. Grows approximately H:30 cm W:30 cm

Stachys byzantina (syn. lanata)

Irresistibly soft, furry silver foliage, the 'Lambs Ear' is a must have in every Cottage garden. • Tall purple flowers • Looks great in pots, rockeries, along pathways and mass planted • Tolerates dry soils  6"/14cm pot size.

Ulmus parvifolia

The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm.
