Description

Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa

A glossy green, rounded leaf box hedging plant • Used for low to medium hedging and topiary • Planted in the garden, along borders, pathways and in pots • Tolerates shady positions

Cotinus Coggygria, Smoketree

Purple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show. Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens. 10" pot size.

Osteospermum ecklonis

African Daisies are one of the toughest groundcovers in the world, and are very hardy. These are the classically beautiful purple African Daisies with black and yellow centres. Great as a ground cover or low shrub, they also do well in pots. Suitable for coastal areas, they sometimes grow right on the beach.

Prunus persica

Super Dwarf Nectarine Sunset is a dark red/purple foliage, deciduous tree providing full sized sweet and juicy fruit that can be eaten straight off the tree. Specifically bred for Australia's cool climate. This Nectarine is self fertile so only one tree is required. Should mature to 1.5m tall and no more. Use fertile soil in full sun.

Floribunda rose 'Lili Marlene'

Fragrant medium red flowers, with dark green leaves. Compact growing. Approximately 2ft in height. Available online ONLY - Not in store.
ContentIf your looking for a small hedging plant then this is the one for you. Dutch Box is a dwarf box that grows with dense, glossy green foliage and works well in shaded areas. Dutch Box also likes part shade in moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. It should be clipped to maintain a formal shape. Slight yellow discolouration of the leaves on Dutch box may occur during cooler months, but don't worry, this is normal! This is remedied by applying with Dolomite Lime, and a slow release fertilizer a month later. Or you can just leave your Dutch Box alone and it will come back lovely and green and spring. Having trouble choosing the right Box Hedge for your garden? Click here!Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries, although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renowned for their flowers and beauty, they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit. The rose hip can be made into an old fashioned jam. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses to climbers and weeping varieties. Amongst all their beautiful colours, varieties and fragrances there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.
