| Description | Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana
Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge.
Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser.

Alphonse Karr is a smaller growing compact bamboo that features golden stems with random green stripes of variable width. The golden color of the stems take on a magenta shade when exposed to bright sunlight making them quite beautiful to look at.
Alphonse Karr bamboo makes a wonderful container plant and it is among the best bamboo for a well lit area indoors. It grows best in the southern states where it can avoid pests that effect it in the tropics. | Phoenix roebelenii 'Pygmy Date Palm'
Date Palms feature an interesting, classic palm trunk that forms and grows larger as it matures. They have a crown of elegant dark green lacy fronds cascading from the top of this. A mature Date Palm will reach 2-3 meters tall.
Old, dead fronds are best pruned off to expose the trunk as the tree ages and to keep it neat. The Date Palm is another good plant for creating a tropical feel in the garden which does well down South. | Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica'
The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position.
