Description

Lavandula angustifolia

Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri. • Small, slender blue-ish purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage • Grown in pots, as a hedge or in the cottage garden to attract bees and butterflies Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils 6"/14cm pot

Disphyma Crassifolium ‘Hot Stuff’ – Pig Face

A lovely native succulent with masses of bright pink flowers, Hot Stuff is a superbly tough and useful groundcover that does well on a wide range of soil types, including saline and sand. Rooting at the nodes makes it a great plant for soil stabilizing. Plant in full sun to part shade. It can take frost, heat and salt spray, but excess heat and cold can slow the growth and flowering. All parts of Disphyma are edible, the leaves can be used for stir fries, salads and for pickling. 6" Pot Size

Myoporum parvifolium

Yareena is a great little ground-covering plant that has clean, attractive foliage that is frost resistant as well as being very drought tolerant. This plant grows to a height of 10cm roughly and has a 1m spread. Yareena grows well in a range of different soil types and likes a position of full sunlight or part shade. Not only does this plant make an excellent ground-cover but it also grows particularly well in coastal regions.
