Description

Ulmus parvifolia

The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm.

Arthropodium cirratum 'Te Puna'

Te Puna thrives in a dark dry shadey  location which is usually difficult to find suitable plants for those areas. It is a dwarf rock lily native to New Zealand. It performs exceptionally well in Australia. Masses of white flowers appear during spring and summer period. Maximum height when established: 50x50cm 6''/14cm pot
Helleborus iburgensis A pretty evergreen perennial with dark green glossy leaves and dark magenta purple cut-shaped flowers with speckled insides. The flowers start to appear in Winter. Hellebores are a perfect plant for cottage or formal gardens. They are excellent mass-planted under trees or in other shaded areas of the garden. 7"/18cm pot
