| Description | Podocarpus salignus
This Podocarp Plum Yew is a very rare plant in cultivation, native to Chile. It develops into a large, conical to rounded shrub or a small tree, clothed in gracefully weeping, broad needles. New growth emerges a vivid bright green before maturing to a rich, deep green, beautifully set against warm brown stems. On mature specimens, the trunk is adorned with striking cinnamon-coloured bark. Widely admired by collectors of rare plants, it is often considered one of the most beautiful trees available. It grows at a moderate to fast rate and can reach heights of at least 5 metres. Best results are achieved when it is sheltered from hot, drying winds.

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich.
A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red.

Butterfly Bush is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with pale pink flowers in spring-summer. These stems grow up to 1m long, but can be clipped back shorter, and sway gracefully in the breeze. The name of a popular variety, Whirling Butterflies, perfectly describes the way the plant resembles a cloud of butterflies when swaying in the breeze.

Chicago Peace Rose displays beautifully formed double coloured blooms that are pink with a light yellow in the center and base.
