| Description | Plectranthus argentatusÂIt is a vigorous and spreading, flowering shrub with a rounded habit. Its leaves are an attractive silvery, plush-velvet. Small mauve to white flowers is presented above the foliage on sage-like spires in Autumn. It prefers well-drained soil in partial shade but will grow in full sun and quite tolerant to drought and tolerant of light frosts. A good choice for Mediterranean style gardens, mixed borders, and semi-tropical gardens where the silvery-grey tones can be used to great effect. Contrasts well with dark green and burgundy foliaged plants. Tip prune regularly and cut back hard every 2 years. | ||
