| Description | Plectranthus argentatusIt is a vigorous and spreading, flowering shrub with a rounded habit. Its leaves are an attractive silvery, plush-velvet. Small mauve to white flowers is presented above the foliage on sage-like spires in Autumn. It prefers well-drained soil in partial shade but will grow in full sun and quite tolerant to drought and tolerant of light frosts. A good choice for Mediterranean style gardens, mixed borders, and semi-tropical gardens where the silvery-grey tones can be used to great effect. Contrasts well with dark green and burgundy foliaged plants. Tip prune regularly and cut back hard every 2 years. | Picea abiesNorway spruce is a large, pyramidal evergreen. It typically matures to a height of around 45meters and is noted for its fast growth rate. Its branches are dense with needle-like, deep green foliage. Norway Spruce likes a position of full sunlight in well draining soils. It requires low maintenance and attracts birds. It has no real disease or insect problems. Great for large lawns, parks and woodland areas. | |
