| Description | Jacaranda mimosifolia
The Jacaranda tree puts on a breathtaking floral display. Its vivid lilac-blue clusters of trumpet shaped blossoms appear in the summer, later falling to the earth carpeting the ground with a mass of colour. It is said that if you are walking underneath the Jacaranda tree and one of the trumpet blossoms falls on your head you will be favoured by fortune. | Brachychiton rupestris
Queensland Bottle is an unusual semi-deciduous tree that has a note-worthy bottle shaped trunk that becomes more pronounced with age. It produces small flowers in late spring that are followed by large seed pods.
Queensland Bottle is a perfect specimen for large lawns or park like gardens. Thrives in well drained soils and open, sunny positions. Can tolerate dry conditions.

4''/10cm pot | Wisteria sinensis 'Alba'
Chinese White Wisteria is the gorgeous white variety of the highly popular Wisteria sinensis. The sinensis varieties are very popular due to their blooms appearing on bare vines in the spring, before the leaves appear. It makes for a gorgeous feature of solid, fragrant colour.
Wisteria sinensis is a very hardy twisting vine that prefers a full sun position in a moist, well drained humus soil. The gorgeous white flowers of the Wisteria sinensis 'Alba' are slightly smaller than that of the Wisteria floribunda 'Alba', hanging 18-30cm long off the vine.
See our Wisteria Factsheet here for more about the different Wisteria varieties!
