Description

Betula pendula youngii 'Weeping Silver Birch'

Weeping Silver Birch is a beautiful tree that is medium sized. Grows best in a position of full sun to partial shade. Silver Birch is great for larger gardens and parks etc. It's bark remains white at the base. This tree is easy to grow and will thrive in most types of soil. This Weeping Silver Birch is deciduous and bears lovely small green leaves. 12" pot size, approximately 6ft tall.

Liquidambar Gumball

Gymball has a dense rounded head grafted onto a trunk. Autumn colour is vibrant yellow-gold then turning brilliant shades of burgundy red. Gorgeous focal point tree for small spaces. Makes a good container specimen for your patio. Lush spring and summer foliage, and lovely autumn colours. Approximately 1.2m in height.

Doryanthes excelsa

The Doryanthes Excelsa's leaves grow upto 2-2.5m. The straight flowering stalk grows upto 6-8m and bears a large cluster of bright red flowers, each 10 centimetres across. The larger variety, the Doryanthes Palmeri, grows leaves that reach 3m, hence the name Giant Spear Lily. Its stalk grows upto 5m and droops rather than standing upright due to the weight of the flowers. Doryanthes Excelsa flowers in spring but can take over 13 years to flower. Flowering can be brought on by bushfires, which also promotes the sprouting of root bulbs 6'' pot
