Description

Quercus palustris

Pin Oak is a fast growing, large tree that is noted for its distinctive shape: the lower branches tend to drop down, the middle branches are fairly horizontal, whilst the upper branches are upright. During spring and summer the beautifully shaped, 5-7 lobed leaves, with a distinctive soft pin-like tip on the ends, will be a lovely glossy, dark green. Autumn will see the graduation into delightful shades of red and bronze with the added bonus of holding the leaves for many weeks, making it a great choice for the larger garden.

Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser. 10" pot size.

Vaccinium corymbosum x ashei x darrowi

Vitality Blueberry is a dwarf evergreen shrub that produces masses of sweet, large blueberries that appear from mid spring through to summer. This variety will need acidic soil for best growth, is self fertile and frost tolerant. Mature growth 1x1m. 6"/14cm pot

Citrus Meyeri "Meyer Lemon Tree"

Meyer Lemon Tree is one of the most, if not the most, popular citrus tree for home gardens. This tree usually grows to to about 13 feet, which makes it one of the smaller lemon trees around. The lemons produces by this tree are smooth and thin skinned and are not as large as the lemons from Eureka or Lisbon but are a more attractive looking, which could well be the reason why they are more popular at supermarkets. They prefer warm climates and are actually pretty hardy. 5L bag, equivalent to 8" pot size.
