Description

Malus purpurea

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich. A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red. 13" pot size.

Cotinus Coggygria, Smoketree

Purple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show. Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens. 10" pot size.

Callistemon "Candy Pink"

Candy Pink is a medium shrub that is incredibly adaptable. Its large flower spikes are a lovely dark pink colour and are borne in flushes virtually all year round after a flush of new growth happens. Candy Pink requires low maintenance and is suitable for coastal gardens. It is drought resistant. Likes a position of full sunlight to light shade. 6" pot size.

Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’

A low growing grass used as a formal groundcover. • Striking black unique foliage • Mass planted in gardens or between pavers • Prefers well-drained, moist soil in part shade

Rosa Hybrid Tea

Chicago Peace Rose displays beautifully formed double coloured blooms that are pink with a light yellow in the center and base. It has a mild fragrance, perfect for cut flowers, cottage and rose gardens. Plant in full sun to part shade. Avaliable in different varieties. Little maitenance required when established. 8"/20cm pot - Bush form.
Acmena smithii A great choice for screening and hedging in narrow areas or in large pots. It grows best in full sun to part shade, in well-drained soil.

Why buy Black Mondo Grass

[one_half] [/one_half] [one_half_last] Mondo Grass is the grass-like plant you never have to cut. Fantastic for groundcovers and borders, it reaches a maximum length of 8 inches and grows no longer. This black variety makes a striking feature element in the garden. This groundcover is ideal for Asian or Zen-style gardens, as well as areas around pavers. It prefers morning sun or dappled shade, thriving in deep shade and tolerating wet, boggy conditions. However, it does struggle in direct hot sun, especially at the sunny end of a path. In a hurry: Plant 16 per square metre Prepared to wait: Plant 8 per square metre [/one_half_last]
Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last tow centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses right up there with your climbers and weeping varieties, amongst all their beautiful colour, variety and hardy nature there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.Acmena smithii Cherry Black Lilly Pilly is a fast growing, evergreen shrub with narrow, glossy green foliage and flushes of deep cherry red almost black tones throughout the year. In spring and summer, small creamy-white blossoms will appear.
