| Description | Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall. 6" pot size, approximately 8-20cm in height. | Malus domestica Granny Smith apples are the green apple of Aussie choice, originating in Australia. While we eat them raw by the bucketload, they're really best as a cooking apple and a key ingredient of Apple Crumble. Granny Smith apples also make great cider. Remember that apple trees need to be planted near other apple trees so that they can pollinate each other and produce fruit. Ideal companions for Granny Smith apple trees are Snow, Fuji and Pink Lady. This is because they all flower at a similar time. | |||||||||||
