Description

Choisya ternata

Mexican Orange Blossom is so named as it's flowers are of a similar nature and scent to an orange tree! The foliage is a mid to light green and is covered with masses of scented white flowers through Spring and Summer. This attractive shrub will grow to approx. 1.5 - 2m, but is happy to be clipped to suit. As a result it can be also used as a hedge or screen. It is best grown in full sun or part shade and is reasonably frost tolerant.

Cedrus brevifolia var horizontalis

Cyprian Cedar is a very rare conifer in cultivation. It is slow growing, growing to approximately 2m in height over the first 10 years. It has dark green, very short needles. The branches grow horizontally and the tree develops a rounded crown with age. It may need staking in the early years to develop the upright habit. Having the short needles makes it a favourite with bonsai enthusiasts. 13"/33cm pot

Camellia sasanqua

Camellia "Hiryu" is a hardy evergreen shrub that can grow up to 5m tall. It bears stunning large deep pink flowers in Autumn and Winter. Great as a hedge, or feature plant. Plant in a sunny to part shade position in rich well drained soil. Water well and mulch in hotter months. Prune lightly and fertilise in Spring. This plant is 1.5m tall in a 16" pot.
