| Description | Luma apiculata
Myrtus Luma is the medium to tall hedge with real traditional style. A lot of people believe the only fast growing larger hedge with fine foliage is the Pittosporum. It is an extraordinarily versatile plant suitable for hedging, screening, topiary, or as a specimen tree, but its small, aromatic leaves respond so well to pruning that it is commonly used as a hedge.
Myrtus luma also makes a wonderful specimen tree if left unpruned. With age it forms an outstanding trunk with cinnamon brown branches. Its bark peels to reveal streaks of pink and beige. What a plant! It really should be seen more in Australian gardens.
| Liriope muscari 'Evergreen Giant'
An elegant clumping ornamental grass with dark green foliage and very little mess
• Clusters of little purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage
• Beautiful plant for borders and edging, in pots and containers or mass planting
• Grows best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade | Oenothera speciosa
Pink Evening Primrose is the perfect plant for your cottage-styled garden!
Pretty, scented pale pink flowers appear from late spring to autumn, attracting native wildlife. Mature growth 30cm x 50cm wide.
| Parthenocissus tricuspidata
Boston Ivy is an incredibly vigorous deciduous climber that evenly covers any surface it is grown over, making it a very popular option for hiding unsightly spots.
- Large glossy, green three-pronged leaves
- Foliage turns bright crimson in the autumn, standing out dramatically in the landscape
- Tolerates average soils, growing best in well drained loamy soil
| Fraxinus griffithii 'Evergreen Flowering Ash'
Evergreen Flowering Ash is a fast growing evergreen tree, it bears foliage that is glossy green on top and a hairy silver colour underneath. Ideal as a feature tree for the garden, parks or street planting.
Evergreen Flowering Ash is best placed in full sunlight with well drained soil. It is drought tolerant and requires low maintenance once established. Grows to approximately 8 meters in height. | Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana
Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge.
Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser.

| Content | | | | Why buy Boston Ivy?
Boston Ivy is one of our most popular climbers, and rightfully so. It suits Melbourne's weather perfectly. It is a self-adhering climber which grows by clinging to the wall or surface, but without damaging stonework or invading cracks. It can be used to cover unsightly fences, or add a lush layer of green over masonry.
Boston Ivy is deciduous and provides a phenomenal autumn display of oranges and red hues. It not only makes a fantastic addition to any garden, but is also a very cost effective way to add colour and beauty to bland areas.
What else do I need to know about buying Boston Ivy plants?
Boston Ivy is a very hardy and versatile climber and it can grow almost anywhere and under any conditions. However it loves a hot sunny spot with loose fertile soil and plenty of water, and in these ideal conditions it will grow to cover anything in no time.
Boston Ivy can also grow in shade, in pots, in poor soils and confined garden beds. However, if conditions are less than perfect, expect it to grow more slowly. The trick is to plant it more densely to achieve ideal coverage if this is the case.
Plant one plant every metre in ideal conditions, or more plants closer together if conditions are less than ideal.
