| Description | Prunus persicaA more compact version of the Golden Queen Peach, which is a New Zealand variety of peach, and perhaps the first grown in NZ. It is yellow-fleshed and yellow-skinned, and although they are great for eating fresh they are the ideal peach for stewing. It ripens late and has a medium-yield. | Melaleuca linariifolia Melaleuca Claret Tops are a dense, low growing native shrub with small leaves, stunning red new growth and masses of white flowers in the spring. As Claret Tops only grows to approximately 1m x 1m it can be trimmed into topiary balls, as a low hedge or border or to add contrast to an otherwise dull garden. Claret Tops prefers a full sun to part shade position. The more sun, the better the colour! Grows best in a well-drained loamy soil but can tolerate most soil types and light frost. The flowers attract beautiful birds and bees to the garden. | |
