Description

Doodia aspera

Prickly Rasp Fern is tufted, fountain-like, low growing fern that spread very easily to form colonies. It's fronds appear pinky coloured and turn mid green when mature. Grows to approximately 40cm in height and approximately 60 in width. This fast growing variety is wind and salt tolerant.
Malus domestica Granny Smith apples are the green apple of Aussie choice, originating in Australia. While we eat them raw by the bucketload, they're really best as a cooking apple and a key ingredient of Apple Crumble. Granny Smith apples also make great cider. Remember that apple trees need to be planted near other apple trees so that they can pollinate each other and produce fruit. Ideal companions for Granny Smith apple trees are Snow, Fuji and Pink Lady. This is because they all flower at a similar time. 20''/50cm pot A horizontal cordon espalier is a flat, rectangular tree structure formed by guiding branches to grow horizontally along a support system, typically a trellis or fence.

Artemisia dracunculus

Tarragon French is a strong flavoured herb with narrow green leaves that is easy to grow. It prefers a well-drained soil and needs a sunny position that is sheltered from winds and winter frosts. French tarragon with its sweet licorice flavour can be used fresh or dried. Mature growth: 30cm x 90cm 4"/10cm pot
