Hymenosporum flavum 

Gold Nugget is a dwarf variety that has a naturally dense form, grows to only a metre high and wide. It has large glossy foliage and yellow perfumed flowers in Summer. Great feature or pot plant that can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Performs best in a protected spot as it only tolerates very light frost. Sun to part shade. Gold Nugget requires low maintenance. Ideal for courtyards, poolside planting, container growing, cottage gardens, flower gardens and coastal gardens. Hydrangea macrophylla 

Macrophylla perform best in a part shade position sheltered form the hot sun and wind with a rich, porous, moist soil. Dead head and prune to shape after flowering, Hydrangeas can be cut back quite hard if need be. Feed with an organic slow release fertiliser in late spring. White varieties do not change colour, no matter the pH. Height 2m, width 1.5m 6''/14cm pot size
Thymus serphyllum coccineus  Very dense foliage and masses of crimson red flowers. This is a very low-growing creeping variety, with fragrant foliage attractive both when in bloom and throughout the year. Ideal for filling in between pavers as well as for growing as a ground cover. If planted in a sunny position in well-drained good quality soil you will have very few problems. 6''/14cm pot
