rachelospermum jasminoides Star of Toscana, is an elegant, vigorous climber of glossy, lanceolate leaves with an abundance of highly frangrant soft yellow star shaped flowers, that bloom continuously throughout summer and autumn. Perfect for coving fences, walls and pergolas or even used as a ground cover, low hedge or container plant. When using Star of Toscana as a climber you will need to provide strong support. Plant in a full sun to part shade area, with well drained soil. It will tolerate most soil types, is low maintenance and is relatively drought tolerant once established. Regular pruning may be required to keep it neat and tidy. Fertilse annually with a complete slow release fertiliser. Can grow to a height and width of up to 8 metres with support to climb.
