Description

Acer palmatum

Red Spray is an excellent red upright variety, blasting out the gates in the early spring with bright cherry red new growth. As it matures, the colour fades to a pleasing green-red. Summer flushes of new growth are cherry red again. Autumn colour is a bright scarlet red.

Red Spray is extremely vigorous and a great grower. This variety is predicted to reach about 20 ft in 25 years.

Prunus serrulata 'Cheals'

'Cheals' Weeping Cherry bloom double petal pink blossoms which absolutely cover the bare, loosely hanging branches, and hold until the leaves emerge. Bronze new growth mature to green in summer and when autumn comes around the tree is awash with autumnal colour. Best used as a feature in a large pot or in the garden and kept out of the wind so as to retain the blossoms and autumn leaves for longer. Weeping cherry's don't like soggy roots so plant in well draining soil or in a mound above the soil line to assist with drainage. Cercis canadensis 'Merlot'

With stunning, deep rich purple foliage in the summer the 'Merlot' Redbud makes for a stunning feature tree in the garden. In the spring, lavender pink blooms cover the bare branches and in the autumn the leaves turn vibrant oranges and yellows before falling.
