| Description | Weigela foliis purpureis - 'Purple Weigela'Foliis Purpueris is spreading in habit. It has dark pink flowers which are a softer pink inside. The handsome leaves are deep green, with a bronze to purple hue. The leaves have better colour in full sun. This variety is a gorgeous, deciduous shrubs with a compact, rounded habit. These make a great shrub border, or as a specimen plant. Plant it in humus rich, well drained soil.
