Macrophylla's perform best in a part shade position sheltered form the hot sun and wind with a rich, porous, moist soil. | Japanese Maple 'Red Spray'Red Spray is an excellent red upright variety, blasting out the gates in the early spring with bright cherry red new growth. As it matures, the colour fades to a pleasing green-red. Summer flushes of new growth are cherry red again. Autumn colour is a bright scarlet red. Red Spray is extremely vigorous and a great grower. This variety is predicted to reach about 20 ft in 25 years. 16" pot size, approximately 1.8m in height. | |
