Winpara Gold is a fast growing native that produces masses of golden spike flower clusters from mid winter to late spring. Perfect for a small hedge or screen (plant 1.5m - 2m apart for a hedge). This variety is frost hardy and requires little water once established. It can grow in full sun to part shade position. It is also bird attracting.
It grows vigorously in sand or clay soils, acid or alkaline.
Plants should be tip pruned when young, then lightly tipped thereafter to increase flowering density. | Pyrus calleryana
A narrow, upright form and an excellent choice for space-restricted or compact areas. Glossy green leaves in Summer, Plentiful white flowers pop up in spring and autumn colour of Reds, Oranges and Purples.
Great for fence lines, tree lined driveway, street planting or parks.
Grows in a column shape.
Can average 8-10m tall. Can be trimmed to keep at 6m if required.
