Description

Quercus lusitanica

Gall Oak/Portuguese Oak is a species of oak native to Portugal, Spain and Morocco. These have been used for centuries in softening leather and in making black dye and ink. In India, the galls are called majuphal among many other names. The stems are crooked, shrubby looking with smooth and bright-green foliage that's shiny on the top. This tree has many uses.
Prunus avium Simone Cherry produces larger, shiny, black fruits that are noted for not splitting readily when rained on. This variety is very cold hardy, reliable and heavy-bearing. Fine fruit that are similar to Bing, though usually smaller. 12"/30cm pot
