Description

Acer palmatum dissectum

Ellen is a low growing and spreading Weeping Maple with a larger leaf than most varieties but maintains a delicate, lacy appearance. This deciduous tree grows to approximately 1m in height and 2.5m in width. Ellen puts on a wonderful display with bright lime-green foliage turning a beautiful yellow in Autumn. Fantastic for use as a feature tree or focal point. Looks great cascading over a wall. 90 Litre pot

Doryanthes excelsa

The Gymea Lily (Doryanthes excelsa) is a striking foliage plant which has leaves that grow up to 2-2.5m in lenth. The straight flowering stalk grows up to 6-8m and bears a large cluster of bright red flowers, each 10 centimetres across. When it does flower, Doryanthes excelsa flowers in spring. However it can take over 13 years to flower. Flowering can be brought on by bushfires, which also promotes the sprouting of root bulbs.

Banksia praermorsa

The Cut leaf Banksia is a medium sized native shrub with stunning flowers from spring and summer and hardy as hell. The flowers vary from bright yellow to dark red and attracts birds by providing shelter. Tolerates coastal exposure, moderate frost, alkaline soils and dry conditions. Prefers sun to light shade. Approx H: up to 2-4 metres W: up to 2-3 metres

Acer palmatum

Emperor One bears a graceful form with blackish red bark. It produces dark red foliage that turns a brilliant scarlet in Autumn. An ideal specimen or small lawn tree. Performs better in colder climates than many Japanese maples as leaves bud out later in spring. Most intense colour in full sun, but best protected with dappled or afternoon shade in hotter regions.

90 LITRE

Pinus thunbergii

Probably the most dwarf form of the Japanese Black Pine. It forms a small, rounded shrub with dark green needles. The new buds are white, contrasting with the dark green foliage. It can grow to approximately 30cm x 30cm in 10 years. It is ideal in a rockery, Japanese garden or patio pot. It performs best in an open, sunny position.
Osteospermum ecklonis 'Serenity Lemonade' African daisy Osteospermim Serenity Lemonade is a gorgeous ground cover African Daisy that will create a mounded ground cover for your garden, or look equally stunning in a large pot. The large Daisy like flowers change as they age, from a soft yellow through to a pale lemon with a strong blue eye. These low growing ground covers are heat and frost tolerant and bloom repeatedly. Once established the weeds will really struggle to push through and over run these.  Prefers a full sun to part shade position and extremely low maintenance. Ideal for sunny borders and great for container planting. 6'' pot

Why buy a Gymea Lily?

[one_half] [/one_half] [one_half_last] Gymea Lily's are architectural plants that have strong shapely foliage which draws the eye and contrasts against almost any other plant or building. They look great in a modern garden. The larger variety, the Doryanthes palmeri, grows leaves that reach 3m, hence the name Giant Spear Lily. Its stalk grows up to 5m and droops rather than standing upright due to the weight of the flowers. [/one_half_last]
