The petioles of the Green Hornet tend to turn reddish to deep purple which give this Japanese Maple an unusual and nice appearance. This variety forms a cascading mushroom shaped mound, growing to approximately 8 feet in height at maturity, with a spread of 10 feet. Green Hornet is great for screening, containers/pots, mass planting and as a feature tree.
