| Description | Banksia spinulosa
Birthday Candles is a dense and compact small shrub that is perfect for rockeries and smaller gardens. These look fantastic when mass planted, in small groups or in containers on the patio, verandah or deck. This variety is frost tolerant. Likes well drained soil types. Grows to approximately 0.5m in height. Produces lovely orange/gold flowers which look great in contrast to the bright green foliage. This shrub is bird and bee attracting.

Eye of the Tiger produces beautiful apricot yellow blooms which are splashed with red at their centre for a particularly attractive display throughout summer. The thorny stems can even be trained onto short supports for a striking mini patio climber. Loves a position of full sunlight. Great for containers, patios and cottage style gardens.
