Two-flowered Knawel is a unique Australian plant that can be found growing naturally in certain alpine regions in eastern Australia. The right green foliage forms mounds that look like bright green lava! It is tolerant of heavy frost and will grow in coastal and alpine climates. Ideal for rockeries, logs or a centrepiece in a bowl. 8"/20cm pot.

The species is hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs) and is pollinated by Insects. The plant is self-fertile. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought. It produces a sourish sweet flavoured fruit that can be eaten fresh, dried like dates or cooked. 13"/33cm pot
