Description

Archontophoenix cunninghamiana

Bangalow Palms are native to Australia and are often used as indoor plants here down South. To grow into a very large tree they would probably require warmer climates than Melbourne, but as a small or medium size tree they look lovely anyway. Use Bangalow Palms as a clumped indoor plant or in a sheltered spot outdoors to add a tropical feel to the garden.

Grevillea hybrid

Carpet Layer is a hardy and easy care spreading dense ground cover with attractive toothed foliage. This variety is noted for its large pink toothbrush-like flowers displayed from Winter to Spring and Summer make this a good garden and landscaping choice, and will feed nectar loving birds. Carpet Layer is fantastic for banks and as a dense weed suppressing ground cover in gardens. Also makes a great weeping standard. It has mild frosts and drought tolerance.

Prunus avium 'Stella'

Stella Cherry trees have dark red heart shaped fruit with a delicious sweet flavour. They’re a popular home garden variety with fruit ripening in mid December. Expect your first fruit when the plant is around 3 years old. It requires a full sun position with protection from wind but does not require a cross pollinator to bear fruit. While Stella Cherry trees are self pollinating, it’s good to plant more than one variety to ensure they put out a good crop of fruit and to extend the fruiting season. Don’t forget to net your cherry trees. The “avium” in their name is latin for BIRD, for a reason you can probably guess. This plant is bare-rooted. Click here for more info on bare rooted plants.
