Description

Malus floribunda

'Japanese Crab Apple' or 'Showy Crab Apple', A round-headed, small deciduous tree that has handsome narrow foliage. Impacting crimson buds form white or pale pink flowers that bloom in Spring. Small red and yellow fruit are also produced during Autumn. Malus Floribunda likes both a full sunlight or partial shade position in moist but well drained soil. This tree grows to an ultimate height of 8-12m. Great for informal and cottage style gardens.

Agapanthus praecox minimus

Dwarf Agapanthus are smaller and more compact, great for narrow borders and gardens with less space. • Fine, strap-like lime green foliage • White umbel flowers appear on tall stems above the foliage • Extremely hardy, tolerating poor soils and drought 6"/14cm pot size.

Persea americana ‘Avocado’ (Bacon)

Upright vigorous avocado producing pear shaped fruit of medium quality. Most cold hardy variety, down to -5C. Great for Victoria. Avocados are very fussy about their soil conditions and will not tolerate wet feet or heavy soils, it is essential to prepare the ground for an avocado well before planting. Young trees are susceptible to sunburn and damage from frost so a small shelter while they establish is a very good idea.
