Shaina is a dwarf, compact variety of maple. New foliage produced is bright red maturing to deep maroon-red. Freely branching growth becomes dense with maturity. This variety is sun-tolerant, but welcomes some afternoon shade in extremely hot summer climates. This is a slow growing tree reaching heights of 6-8ft.
