| Description | Lavandula angustifolia
Munstead Lavender is a dwarf-rounded bush with aromatic grey-green foliage. It produces dense spikes of aromatic beautiful tiny purple to violet flowers during summer. These are lighter in colour than Hidcote Lavender, and the plant grows slightly larger.
8" pot size | Citrus sinensis "Lane's Late Navel Orange"
Lane's Late Navel Orange is almost identical to the Washington Navel in all aspects apart from the fruit ripening a couple of months later. This tree bears simple glossy green foliage.
The fruit that Lane's Late Navel Orange tree bears is sweet, juicy and full of zest. Usually seedless, they are easy to peel and ideal as a healthy snack at any time of the day.
Roughly 2ft tall in a 4L pot/bag. | Pyrus calleryana
Bradford Ornamental Pear, a fast growing – thick and glossy, dark green, heart shaped leaves. Autumn colours are reds, oranges, purples and yellows. Clusters of small white flowers in early spring. Suitable as a feature tree.
Pyramid in shape – becomes broad with age.
Growth in Melbourne, Victoria – Height: 6 Meters Width: 6 Meters
100 litre bag - approx 2.5m tall (Please call to confirm height, as heights change often throughout the seasons.) | Phoenix roebelenii 'Pygmy Date Palm'
Date Palms feature an interesting, classic palm trunk that forms and grows larger as it matures. They have a crown of elegant dark green lacy fronds cascading from the top of this. A mature Date Palm will reach 2-3 meters tall.
Old, dead fronds are best pruned off to expose the trunk as the tree ages and to keep it neat. The Date Palm is another good plant for creating a tropical feel in the garden which does well down South. |
