Description

Hydrangea Paniculata "Diamond Rouge"

Diamond Rouge is an award-winning variety that makes a statement as the reddest of all Hydrangeas. Its flowers open white, gradually deepening in colour to bright red once in full bloom. This sun hardy Hydrangea has a bushy habit, and is easy to grow. Features strong stems bearing large flowers. These are great as feature plants and for use in containers. 8" pot size. Deciduous plant: Drops its leaves in winter and regrows in Spring.

Acmena smithii

Forest Flame is a very compact form of Acmena smithii that can easily be kept pruned under 1m. It produces glossy fine green leaves with attractive bright red new growth. If you keep it regularly trimmed will not produce berries.  This variety prefers a full sun or part shade position for best results and becomes extremely frost hardy once established. Will tolerate dry conditions once established and is reasonably frost tolerant. 13"/33cm pot
Prunus subhirtella pendula 'Rosea'  'Rosea' Weeping Cherry is a superb pink-blossoming tree that has both spectacular floral and foliage beauty. And it's adaptable to a wide range of conditions, including heat and moderate drought, the trunk only growing as tall as its graft height. A wonderful little landscape feature! See our Prunus - Ornamental Blossom Factsheet here for more about the different cherry and plum blossom varieties!Lavandula stoechas 'Avonview' Avonview Lavender is a long-blooming lavender with luxurious smelling flowers and soft, grey-green foliage. • Dark purple flowers topped with long petals that look like a butterfly • Can be grown in pots or as a hedge Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Pyrus nivalis

The Snow Pear is an especially hardy ornamental pear tree with glaucous foliage, having a fine, silvery soft coating on the leaves.

• Tolerates drought and wet areas • Perfect for driveways, avenues or a stand alone feature • Autumnal colour and spring blossom

ContentThese pink weeping cherries are part of the Subhirtella species, which are weeping cherries grow wider than their other relatives. This makes them the best choice for a weeping shade and feature tree. You can literally sit under an umbrella canopy of blossoms in the spring! The Weeping Cherry tree is a superb blossoming tree that has both spectacular floral and foliage beauty and high versatility. These trees are grafted which means they stay small and do not grow in height once planted. Instead they mature by growing a thicker trunk and a much fuller weeping head. Highly recommended as a landscape feature plant, with masses of flowers in spring. It’s adaptable to a wide range of conditions including heat and moderate drought. Good disease resistance, flowers best in full sun. The 'Rosea' pink weeping cherry is best kept out of the wind so as to retain the blossoms and autumn leaves for longer. Weeping cherries don't like soggy roots so plant in well draining soil or in a mound above the soil line to assist with drainage. It's worth mentioning that weeping cherry trees are a type of ornamental cherry, which means they don't produce edible fruit but instead put their energy into beautiful flowers.Avonview Lavender is one of our favourite lavender varieties. It's a long-blooming lavender with luxurious smelling flowers and foliage, and features vibrant, dark blue and violet-purple flowers which are produced throughout the warmer months and all year round in hotter climates.
