| Description | Hebe buxifolia
Hebe Buxifolia, also known as Box leaved Hebe is a small, round, bun shaped evergreen shrub with small glossy dark green leaves and small white flowers at the end of the branches. It is frost hardy and is a good cold climate plant, useful for shrubberies and for creating a low, flowering, informal hedge.
Grows in any soil and needs little trimming being naturally tidy. Note: Some still refer to these as Veronicas - being of the same family.
6" pot size. | Cupressus macrocarpa
Monterey Cypress or Western District Cypress a large evergreen tree conifer which lives long and grows large in perfect conditions. Native to coastal California, it suits coastal conditions and has the unique tendancy to be "sculptured" by the wind over time as it grows.
The foliage grows in dense sprays, bright green in color. The leaves are scale-like and produced on rounded shoots. Makes a good windbreak in coastal areas. | Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica'
The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over!
