| Description | Callistemon citrinus
This variety of the classic Australian native grows more compactly and rounded than other varieties. Great as a specimen tree or screen. Bright red bottle brush flowers. Attracts birds to the garden. | Ulmus parvifolia
The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm. | Cotinus Coggygria, Smoketree
Purple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show.
Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens.
10" pot size. | Rosemary officinalis 'Blue Lagoon'
Rosemary Blue Lagoon is a low growing, spreading shrub that grows about 1m tall and 2m across. It is very impressive when flowering as it's just a mass of blue.
Goes great on banks or in rockeries. Used for hedging as it loves a trim. With no maintenance necessary after roots are established its perfect for any garden! |
