| Description | Rosa banksiae
The Banksia Rose is a tough evergreen climbing rose with soft ruffled yellow flowers which appear in Spring. Like Iceberg Roses, it's prized as a disease resistant and hardy rose. It works well as a groundcover rose or a climber when given a support such as a trellis.
The Banksia rose is an incredibly useful and versatile climber or groundcover as it is low maintenance, thornless and tolerates full sun and part shade.
6"/14cm pot size. | Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"
Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall.
6" pot size, approximately 8-20cm in height. | Azalea indica
Requires a sheltered position of full shade to part sun or morning sun with well draining soil.
- Evergreen foliage
- Perfect for shady areas
- Great for Japanese gardens
| Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica'
The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over!
10"/25cm pot size | Rosa Hybrid tea rose
Piccadilly has beautiful bi-colour blooms of scarlet red and gold. Lightly scented and very free blooming, perfect for pots and garden beds.
Hybrid Tea roses provide a colourful display from late spring to late autumn. Upright bushes produce classically shaped blooms on long stems making them wonderful to grow as cutflowers.
8''/20cm pot - approx 3ft tall (90cm) | Yucca elephantipes 'Spineless Yucca/Stick Yucca'
Yuccas would have to be one of the most versatile plants available. They will successfully grow in full sun, part shade, full shade or indoors. Grown for their bold and handsome shape, they feature tall woody stems ending in a crown of long sword shaped leaves. |
| Content | | | Azalea satsuki hybrid
Gumpo White Azalea produces masses of bright white flowers annually from late autumn through winter. Ideal for hedging, screening, features and shady areas. | | | Yuccas prefer dryer conditions with good drainage, but will still grow in most places; they will tolerate very hot periods without water or near freezing conditions. If grown in the full sun, the foliage becomes stiffer and bolder looking, giving it the trendy and fashionable Mediterranean look. If grown in shade or indoors they will develop a softer and longer leaf.
Yuccas can be planted in pots or in the garden, be grown indoors or outdoors and be planted in sun or shade. They look exotic and tropical and have a modern style. Yuccas perform a range of landscape functions. Plant as a centerpiece in a courtyard, as a feature plant in a pot or as a low maintenance stylish screen. Use as a hardy indoor feature either fully indoors, under plastic roofing or in undercover outdoors areas.
