Scarlet Tempest has ruffled flower heads, that are a mixture of rusty red with apricot shades. This plant is excellent for low borders in cottage and rock gardens, with well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. The blooms will start in Summer. It responds well to having spent flower heads removed to promote new growth.
