| Description | Sisyrinchium
Devon Skies is a special ground cover that creates a magical carpet of little blue flowers in Spring-Summer.
While its foliage has a grass-like look, and it is often known as Blue-eye Grass, it is actually a bulb closely related to the Iris. Devon Skies grows well in pots, and is also is perfect for rockeries.
This plant enjoys being in full sun to part shade, and once established is both drought and frost hardy.
Grows approximately H: 15cm W: 30cm | Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’
A low growing grass used as a formal groundcover.
• Striking black unique foliage
• Mass planted in gardens or between pavers
• Prefers well-drained, moist soil in part shade
4"/10cm pot | Lonicera nitida
Fast growing, fine leaf box hedging and topiary plant with a defined edge.
• Get your box hedge or topiary twice as fast!
• Responds very well to pruning, becoming beautifully dense
• Tolerates very poor soils and hot conditions | Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa
A glossy green, rounded leaf box hedging plant
• Used for low to medium hedging and topiary
• Planted in the garden, along borders, pathways and in pots
• Tolerates shady positions | Magnolia grandiflora 'Kay Parris'
A compact and dense growing tree, 'Kay Parris' is another exemplary Magnolia for pleached screening or as a stunning feature. The glossy green leaves are somewhat more pointed than that of the 'Little Gem' or Alta™, yet it still sports the velvety brown underside one comes to know and love about Magnolia's.
'Kay Parris' large white flowers bloom during the warmer months, exuding that heavenly Magnolia lemony scent.

| Content | | We are the first nursery to make mass plantings of Mondo Grass and Bongo Borders Liriope available at good prices. What we have found is that once you come out and buy a few trays of Bongo Borders Liriope and Mondo Grass and see how good they look in your garden, you’ll be back again and again. One of Chris’ mates has been going crook at him because his wife had been in three times in three weeks for Mondo Grass and Bongo Borders Liriope. She keeps finding places in the garden to plant more!
For more info on Mondo Grass, visit our Mondo Grass Factsheet. | BoxOz Lonicera has been specially developed by Chris, and is our exclusive hedging plant. It has a deeper green foliage, a denser finish and more clearly defined shape than the traditional English Box.
BoxOz Lonicera is the best plant with which to create your perfect hedge or border as it grows quickly and once your hedge has developed its easy to maintain with only a few trimmings a year. New shoots are soft and easy to cut and trimming is an effortless relaxing experience.
Some traditional hedging plants grow only an inch or two a year. BoxOz Lonicera will produce a calf high border in under twelve months, a knee high hedge in around 18 months, and a waist high hedge in 30 months. Almost any soil is suitable, as long as it is not too swampy. Fertilise your BoxOz Lonicera occasionally with a complete fertiliser, and water as required. | If your looking for a small hedging plant then this is the one for you. Dutch Box is a dwarf box that grows with dense, glossy green foliage and works well in shaded areas.
Dutch Box also likes part shade in moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. It should be clipped to maintain a formal shape.
Slight yellow discolouration of the leaves on Dutch box may occur during cooler months, but don't worry, this is normal! This is remedied by applying with Dolomite Lime, and a slow release fertilizer a month later. Or you can just leave your Dutch Box alone and it will come back lovely and green and spring.
