Silk Tassel is a large vigorous, evergreen tree/shrub/bush with dark green foliage. From winter it displays breath-taking long tassels that can reach 30cm long. Garrya can reach a height and width of 8x8m if untrained or un clipped. It can handle most soils, but will grow best in well-drained, fertile soil in full sun or partial shade. A classic woody native Australian shrub, Banksias are great for a low maintenance garden and create interest with their recognizable flower cones. Silver Banksias will grow to the size of a large shrub and and good for screening. They're also great for coastal areas, as they're naturally found by the sea and tolerate sand and salt.

The 'Limelight' Acacia makes a stunning feature foliage or border plant with its graceful weeping foliage. It grows to a max height of 1 meter and spreads to 1 meter wide, and keeps to a rounded compact shape.
Acacia 'Fettuccine' will tolerate dry periods but benefits from a monthly or weekly watering in the hotter months and a moist, well drained soil. It makes a very good garden border, rockery feature or bank cover and also an excellent tub or pot plant. |
