Description

Ficus Carica "White Genoa Fig"

White Genoa Fig has a moderate growth rate and is a long lived tree. It makes an excellent specimen or shade tree. This particular variety has uniquely flavoured figs which have a sweet, juicy flesh that is great for eating as well as jams. White Genoa Fig is best placed in a sunny, sheltered position with well drained soil. Once established this fig is tolerant to all but the severest conditions. Grows to approximately 9 meters in height. 8" pot size.

Malus purpurea

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich. A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red. 13" pot size.

Cotinus Coggygria, Smoketree

Purple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show. Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens. 10" pot size.
