This particular variety has uniquely flavoured figs which have a sweet, juicy flesh that is great for eating as well as jams. White Genoa Fig is best placed in a sunny, sheltered position with well drained soil. Once established this fig is tolerant to all but the severest conditions. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich.
