Description

Dendrocalumus "Thai Black Asper Bamboo"

Thai Black Asper Bamboo is probably the best black bamboo to grow in cooler climates such as South East Australia. Its attractive black stalks are streaked with green. However it is the largest black bamboo out and is quite vigorous, so allow it plenty of space. Black Asper Bamboo stands up to cold much better than other black bamboos. Great as a screen or wall on larger properties, this black beauty can reach heights of 25 metres! 8" pot size, approximately 3ft in height.
Quercus afares It is known as a deciduous tree, producing lovely autumn colours, however, in hotter climates, it can be semi-evergreen.

Ulmus procera

English Elm is an iconic tree that has adapted well into South Eastern Australia. It is usually used as a park, specimen, street or shade tree. Its beautiful yellow Autumn foliage is its notable feature. This tree is best used as a feature tree in a large space. It can also be used as a screen or avenue tree.
ContentQuercus afares A large growing Oak tree also named the Algerian Oak, produces masses of acorns and has an upright growth habit while young, however will spread out with age. It has corky bark and can handle tough, dry, coastal locations.
