| Description | Rosa banksiae
The Banksia Rose is a tough evergreen climbing rose with soft ruffled yellow flowers which appear in Spring. Like Iceberg Roses, it's prized as a disease resistant and hardy rose. It works well as a groundcover rose or a climber when given a support such as a trellis.
The Banksia rose is an incredibly useful and versatile climber or groundcover as it is low maintenance, thornless and tolerates full sun and part shade.
6"/14cm pot size. | Agapanthus praecox minimus
Dwarf Agapanthus are smaller and more compact, great for narrow borders and gardens with less space.
• Fine, strap-like lime green foliage
• White umbel flowers appear on tall stems above the foliage
• Extremely hardy, tolerating poor soils and drought
6"/14cm pot size. | Choisya ternata
Mexican Orange Blossom is so named as it's flowers are of a similar nature and scent to an orange tree! The foliage is a mid to light green and is covered with masses of scented white flowers through Spring and Summer.
This attractive shrub will grow to approx. 1.5 - 2m, but is happy to be clipped to suit. As a result it can be also used as a hedge or screen. It is best grown in full sun or part shade and is reasonably frost tolerant. | Rosa 'Wedding Day' Rambling rose
A vigorous rambler that will climb to a great height. Its single blooms are strongly fragrant and produced in large clusters, mingling beautifully with the dark, glossy foliage. The buds are yellow, opening cream then quickly turning white.
8''/20cm pot | Rosa 'Pierre de Ronsard' - Gold
The Golden Pierre de Ronsard rose produces masses of large golden yellow flowers that are very elegant. They are lightly fragrant flowers that create a cascade of continuous colour.

| Content | | | | | Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging.
Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses right up there with your climbers and weeping varieties, amongst all their beautiful colour, variety and hardy nature there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden. |
