Description

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Luma apiculata

Myrtus Luma is the medium to tall hedge with real traditional style. A lot of people believe the only fast growing larger hedge with fine foliage is the Pittosporum. It is an extraordinarily versatile plant suitable for hedging, screening, topiary, or as a specimen tree, but its small, aromatic leaves respond so well to pruning that it is commonly used as a hedge. Myrtus luma also makes a wonderful specimen tree if left unpruned. With age it forms an outstanding trunk with cinnamon brown branches. Its bark peels to reveal streaks of pink and beige. What a plant! It really should be seen more in Australian gardens.

Cornus kousa var Chinensis, Kousa Dogwood, Chinese Dogwood

This is arguably the world's most beautiful dogwood, with a fabulous show of white flowers in spring, and magnificent autumn colour. A beautiful small (up to 4m) deciduous feature tree and is extremely beautiful when in bloom.  Flowering season is late spring, weeks after the tree puts on foliage again. 8" pot size

Lonicera nitida

Common names: Lonicera Lemon Beauty, Variegated box Honeysuckle, Box Honeysuckle. A variegated Honeysuckle variety, with evergreen, glossy, green and gold leaves that will reach a height of 1.2m by 60cm wide. Great for hedging, topiary, pathways or pots and containers. Plant in full sun to part shade with well drained soil. Can handle coastal locations.

Brachychiton acerifolius

The Illawarra Flame Tree is known for its stunning display of bright red flowers that cover the whole bare tree in late Spring. While it's an Aussie native, it is now grown all over the world for its beauty. The Illawarra Flame Tree is only fully deciduous in the northern parts of Australia, where it drops its leaves in the dry season. Plant Flame Trees with Jacarandas for a colour explosion. 12"/30cm pot size.

Lavandula angustifolia

Munstead Lavender is a dwarf-rounded bush with aromatic grey-green foliage. It produces dense spikes of aromatic beautiful tiny purple to violet flowers during summer. These are lighter in colour than Hidcote Lavender, and the plant grows slightly larger. 8" pot size

Syzygium australe 'Standard Lilly Pilly'

Standard Lilly Pilly are tough and beautiful with their multi coloured leaves. They are one of the easiest to grow and maintain "ball on a stick" topiaries, and you can prune into whichever shape your heart desires! Give a formal touch to a low maintenance, hardy garden or pop them in big pots and they'll look fantastic. 8" pot size Our 3ft Standard Lilly Pilly have a 2ft clear trunk with approx. 1ft of foliage at the top. To match your existing standards, measure the clear trunk from the base of the trunk to the beginning of the graft or foliage
