Cyperus alternifolius Common names: The umbrella papyrus, Umbrella sedge or Umbrella palm. An evergreen aquatic, grass-like plant has dark green umbrella-shaped leaves. Gorgeous little yellow/green flowers show in spring. can handle full sun and part shade, perfect for ponds and damp wet areas. Tip: If you add plants to a pond with fish, we recommend using garden soil or potting mix without any added fertilizers. Then, add a layer of pebbles to prevent the soil from washing away. 8"/20cm pot
