| Description | Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"
Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall.
6" pot size, approximately 8-20cm in height. | Nephrolepis biserrata Macho Boston Fern
Macho Boston Fern is one of many ferns that is suitable for indoor use as a houseplant, but unlike the regular Boston Fern, it grows much bigger! This evergreen beauty can grow to 1.8m x 1.8m and is native to tropical regions throughout the world. It is common in humid forests and swamps. It produces long palm fronds which weep gracefully creating a very tropical feel.
Frost sensitive, preferring well drained soils in part to full shade positions.
Please call to confirm availability (03) 9359 3331 or place your order before attending the nursery to avoid disappointment.
4" pot size. | Pinus mugo Aurea
An unusual form of Dwarf Mountain Pine, the 'Amber Gold' Mugo Pine turns from a green in the summer months to a luminescent gold in the winter. This compact, slow growing pine makes for a perfect low maintenance hedge. Due to its stunning foliage colour, it makes a wonderful winter colour feature plant that can be kept in either pots and containers or directly in the garden.
Pinus 'Amber Gold' tolerates most soils, providing they drain well and prefers a full sun position. |
