Dark Delight is a New Zealand Flax cultivar that sports a beautiful dark reddish brown colour. It can reach 4ft tall and adds a bit of flair to the colour scheme gardens. Dark Delight injects a lovely, dramatic contrast of colour. It is very low maintenance, drought hardy (after it is settled in) and can tolerate the harsh summer sun. Butterfly Bush is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with pale pink flowers in spring-summer. The name of a popular variety, Whirling Butterflies, perfectly describes the way the plant resembles a cloud of butterflies when swaying in the breeze.
