Golden Delicious apples are yellow and very sweet. The fruit features a fairly thin skin that makes it easy to eat. Golden Delicious apple trees have white blooms and dark green foliage. They polinate many other apple varieties, so are a good apple tree to include in your collection.
Remember that apple trees need to be planted near other apple trees so that they can polinate eachother and produce fruit. Ideal companions for Golden Delicious apple trees are Fuji, Red Delicious and Pink Lady. This is because they all flower at a similar time. | Photinia robusta

| Content | BoxOz Lonicera has been specially developed by Chris, and is our exclusive hedging plant. It has a deeper green foliage, a denser finish and more clearly defined shape than the traditional English Box.
BoxOz Lonicera is the best plant with which to create your perfect hedge or border as it grows quickly and once your hedge has developed its easy to maintain with only a few trimmings a year. New shoots are soft and easy to cut and trimming is an effortless relaxing experience.
Some traditional hedging plants grow only an inch or two a year. BoxOz Lonicera will produce a calf high border in under twelve months, a knee high hedge in around 18 months, and a waist high hedge in 30 months. Almost any soil is suitable, as long as it is not too swampy. Fertilise your BoxOz Lonicera occasionally with a complete fertiliser, and water as required. | Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last tow centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging.
Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses right up there with your climbers and weeping varieties, amongst all their beautiful colour, variety and hardy nature there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden. | Rhaphiolepis indica 'Oriental Pearl' Indian Hawthorn
The attractive glossy foliage is dark green in colour and contrasts well with the massed display of flowers. Grows in full sun to partial shade with best flowers produced in full sun. Hardy and adaptable to most soils but prefers enriched, well-drained soils and appreciates an application of chunky mulch. Resistant to salt spray, and once established (with early good watering) will withstand dry conditions for extended periods. Is heat and frost tolerant to a degree. Excellent choice for pots, low hedging, massed planting in shrubberies or around pools. | | | | |
