Description

Ceratonia siliqua

The Carob Tree is known to be one of the world’s best natural sweeteners. The leathery pods are commonly used as a substitute for cocoa and have been cultivated throughout the Mediterranean as a staple food source for many many years. A tough drought-tolerant shade tree that also makes an ideal windbreak in our dry climate. It requires a male and female plant to produce the pods so plant a few to ensure good pollination. Plant in full sun with well drained soil. Mature growth 7m x 10m

Gaura lindheimeri "Butterfly Bush"

Butterfly Bush is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with pale pink flowers in spring-summer. These stems grow up to 1m long, but can be clipped back shorter, and sway gracefully in the breeze. The name of a popular variety, Whirling Butterflies, perfectly describes the way the plant resembles a cloud of butterflies when swaying in the breeze. 6" pot size.

Hybrid tea 'Papa Meilland'

Velvety crimson blooms with a high centre, highly fragrant. Vigorous and upright. Available as a bush rose and 3ft standard. 8" pot size. Available online ONLY - Not in store.
